Clean Solar gives back to charity in customers name for every solar power purchase
San Jose, CA - Clean Solar, Inc. announces a $250 charitable donation for every solar installation. Beginning 1st quarter 2008, Clean Solar will donate $250 in the name of anyone purchasing solar and utilizing Clean Solar for it's installation. Clean Solar will allow the customer to choose the charity of their choice. For those who do not have a favorite charity, they have 4 charities for which to choose; Sierra Club, Audobon Society, National Wildlife Federation, and The Grameen Foundation. "We just wanted to do the 'right thing' says Jeff Ritchey—Co-Founder of Clean Solar. "Our original mission calls for us to give back. We just wanted to follow through on that promise to our company."

Grameen Foundation - Grameen Foundation's mission centers around micro loans programs, helping the poor, mostly women, to start self-sustaining businesses to escape poverty. Grameen Foundation received the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize.
