This marks the 5th year Clean Solar has been listed on the Solar Power World’s Annual 2017 Top Solar Contractors list. This year, Clean Solar ranked as the #1 Bay Area installer for top solar contractors with a U.S. ranking of 252 for solar installers. Of the 144 companies who focus on installing rooftop solar exclusively, Clean Solar came in #49. Rankings are as follows:

The 2017 Top Solar Contractors list features 500 of the best solar contractors nationwide, working in utility, commercial, residential and off grid markets. Rankings are determined by the number of MW (megawatts) installed, developed or helped and developed in 2016.
In 2016, the market installed 14,700 MW of solar. That’s double the amount installed in 2015. California continues to be the leader for electricity capacity from solar installations. Total energy installed throughout the state is 18,296 MW.
