It’s Earth Hour! Turn off your lights to support our planet!

March 27, 2014 – Join millions across the world to raise awareness for our planet! How easy is it? Just turn off your lights! This Saturday, March 29th, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the world is shutting off their non-essential lights to show support for our planet’s sustainable future. See you in the dark!

In 2004, the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) organized “Earth Hour” in order to draw attention to climate change and other matters affecting our planet. It became an international collaboration in 2008 and now more than 7,000 cities across 154 countries participate in the nighttime event. That’s millions of minds committed to finding ways to reduce and conserve our resources!

When the lights go out on Saturday night, what solutions will you ponder? Will you commit to using less energy? How about generating your own renewable power? Did you know that solar panels generate their own power and you will subsequently use less energy from the utility company? A solar power installation is a large step you can take to do your part for the planet’s future. Every step we take contributes to a bright future for our planet.

Turn off your lights to show your support and then install solar on your home to start solving the problem!
