October 19, 2015 – San Jose, CA – The Silicon Valley Business Journal released their list of the Top 50 Fastest Growing Private Companies in Silicon Valley and Clean Solar, a local residential and commercial solar installer, ranks at #21. Companies are ranked by taking the average of the percentage revenue growth from the periods of 2012 to 2013 and from 2013 to 2014. Clean Solar is reporting 152% growth, which ranks them at #21 overall. In fact, Clean Solar is the highest ranked solar company on the list, making them the fastest growing private solar company in Silicon Valley.

Adding to these accolades for growth in 2014, this year marked Clean Solar expanding its commercial solar division into the North Bay and expanding its residential territory into the East Bay cities of Tracy and Mountain House.

Extensive criteria needed to be met in order for a company to be considered for the Silicon Valley Business Journal Fastest Growing Private Companies award including: being privately held and headquartered in “Silicon Valley” as defined by the Silicon Valley Business Journal, having at least $500,000 in sales in 2012, and having a three-year sales history with a revenue increase in fiscal year 2012 over 2014. Additionally, all financial documentation is verified by an outside auditor.
